2020 – Tempe adds resource navigators to help people in need find the help they need to stay or become financially and emotionally solvent

This program helps Tempe residents by providing them with resources at no cost to them. Individuals may receive assistance online and over the phone and will have direct contact with the resource navigators.

Resource navigators can assist people with a wide range of needs, including but not limited to:

• Connecting residents to appropriate city services and programs, such as Tempe PRE or CARE7
• Helping obtain basic needs such as food boxes and hygiene items
• Completing AHCCCS and other state services applications such as SNAP benefits and childcare subsidies
• Connecting to shelter services
• Connecting to educational and employment resources
• Connecting to rental and utility assistance
