           To leave or permit to remain on any property, areas infested with insects or rodents including, but not limited to: bees, wasps, hornets, yellow jackets, mice, rats, or roaches, in an amount that may become a hazard to public health or safety.

A common example:

A common violation for this code is beekeeping on a property. The violation in this scenario is allowing the bees to remain on the property and close to other residential properties which creates a hazard to public health or safety.
