Each Fall, Dementia Friendly Tempe is proud to host the Annual DFT Summit, a free event where leading experts and people impacted by cognitive changes can connect, receive education and community resources,  and learn the latest news, tips, and tricks on tackling the unique challenges of Alzheimer's Disease and other related dementias. Our goal is to provide a space where everyone can leave feeling empowered and armed with helpful information.

On Nov. 16, 2024, DFT hosted its 8th Annual DFT Summit, "Your Dementia Roadmap: What To Know At Every Stage of Your Journey." A panel of professional experts and dementia care partners shared their insight and personal experiences from the initial diagnosis to end-of-life. The summit was an uplifting and great success and we are already planning for next year's event!
