The Kiwanis Park Recreation Center offers a wide range of facilities that are ideal for meetings, classes, receptions, reunions, athletic events, parties, and other social or corporate activities.

Pool Parties

Make a splash at your birthday bash this year! The Kiwanis Wave Pool offers a variety of pool party packages that include reserved decorated table areas, welcome signs for all birthday children, special deals on tube and life vest rentals and more! For more information on having a birthday or other special event at the wave pool, call 480-350-5201. 

Ramadas

When it comes to corporate or private event space, Kiwanis is the best-kept secret in Tempe! In addition to various facilities inside the Kiwanis Recreation Center, there are some excellent outdoor options. Our Corporate Ramada and Picnic area spans nearly one and a half acres and includes sand volleyball courts, while our smaller Oasis Ramada is an approximately 4,000-square-foot area that can accommodate upwards of 100 guests. 

 

Gymnasium

The Kiwanis Recreation Center Gymnasium is a multi-purpose, 9,500-square-foot facility with Robbins hardwood floors. Dual side courts allow for basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, and other sports activities.

The gym can also be converted to accommodate non-athletic events such as wedding receptions, family reunions or other large group gatherings.

Classrooms 

The classrooms at Kiwanis are ideal for anything from meetings and seminars to instructional courses and study sessions. The two rooms can be rented separately, or they can be converted into one large meeting space.  Materials such as whiteboards, easels, sound system or other audio visual equipment can be rented for an additional fee. 
 

 

Observation Room 

Located on the second floor, the observation deck is an approximately 900-square-foot space that overlooks the gymnasium and pool. Like the classrooms, this space is perfect for meetings, workshops or instruction.
