The City of Tempe is proud to support its diverse community on their journey to enhance digital literacy. Currently, the City of Tempe offers classes at the Guadalupe Senior and Pyle Senior Centers every Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.

    Older Adult Technology Resource Fair

    Bring a friend and join us for this FREE event to support digital learning for low-income older adults aged 50+!

    Qualifying older adults will be loaned technology in the form of a laptop and/or internet hotspot at no cost to the participant. Our team will be on-hand to provide individualized device training during the loan process. Device loans are provided to qualified applicants on a first come, first serve basis. Staff will be available to assist with the application process for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a federal program that provides low-income households with $30 discount on home internet.

    Participants must meet the following requirements to qualify:
    -Must be an adult aged 50+
    -Currently live in Tempe or Guadalupe
    -Currently participate in SNAP, Section 8, or have a household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.

    Tuesday, December 12 from 10:00am-2:00pm as the Tempe Public Library- 3500 S Rural Rd, downstairs in the Desert Willow Room.
