Nominate a noteworthy individual, group, space, or organization to acknowledge outstanding individuals or groups, unique neighborhoods, beautiful shared spaces, creative and welcoming events, innovative initiatives and more.

Arts & Culture Nomination Form - recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to arts and culture in Tempe.
Sustainability Achievement of the Year Nomination Form - nominate people or projects for their efforts to promote sustainability and resilience in our community.
Water Wise Landscape Nomination Form - honor Tempe residences and businesses that maintain water wise landscapes by demonstrating excellent horticultural maintenance and design standards, while highlighting the beauty of native and other desert plants.
Historic Preservation Nomination Form - recognize residents, groups, or organizations for their commitment to historic preservation in Tempe.
Dolores Huerta Scholarship Application Form - This scholarship will award $1,000.00 to one Tempe Union High School District High School Senior who has been involved in community organizing, leadership development, civic engagement or policy advocacy.

Mark your calendar! The 2025 Neighborhood Celebration is set for the morning of Saturday, April 5, in the Fiesta Ramadas area at Kiwanis Park. This webpage will be updated as more event details become available.

On April 6, 2024, more than 300 community members bonded over games, live music and fun in Kiwanis Park as part of the third annual Neighborhood Celebration. Seventeen amazing neighbors, community members and local businesses were awarded for being great neighbors, impacting Tempe’s arts and culture, contributing to sustainability and resilience, conserving water and more.
Tempe would like to congratulate award winners for their impactful contributions to their community and thank the Neighborhood Advisory Commission for another successful neighborhood party.
2024 award winners and honorable mentions
- Neighborhood Awards winners: Broadmor Bike Bus, Cranksgiving, Oasis Lake, Elie Merheb, Lane Carraway, Jeff Caslake, Sid Frede and Tempe Preparatory Academy National Honor Society club.
- Arts and Culture Award winners: Tony Duncan, Darlene Justus, Tempe Artists Guild, Farmer Wilson and Kim DeMeritt.
- Sustainability Achievement of the Year: Ana Aguilar.
- Water Wise Landscape of the Year: Steve Bannochie.
- Historic Preservation award: Tempe Historic Preservation Foundation.
- The Dolores Huerta Scholarship was presented to Emma Ellexson.
