Construction on the Tempe Women’s Club Park lighting project is anticipated to start on Dec. 6 and last approximately 8 weeks. The project includes new pathway lighting bollards along the sidewalks, new lighting at the playground shade structure, new ramada lights and new area lights at the parking lot.

Park Construction Impacts
The playground, parking lot, ramada, and central path area will NOT be accessible during the project. A portion of the path on the west and the north side of park will be able to be accessed from the west side of the park at College Avenue.

The improvements are funded out of the city’s Capital Improvement Program budget, as part of the Parks Improvement Plan, which is reinvesting more than $60 million into Tempe parks over the next few years . Additional modifications or enhancements to other park amenities are not included in the budgeted amount.
