The City of Tempe honors those who have died protecting our community with the Tempe Public Safety Memorial located at the entrance of Tempe Beach Park at Tempe Town Lake.

The memorial honors the Tempe firefighters, police officers and canines who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Not only does this memorial serve as a tribute to our fallen heroes, it serves as a place where families, friends, and the community can come together to honor them.  The 8-foot-tall memorial was sculpted by world-renowned artist Benjamin Victor.
