The Tempe Police Department Crime Analysis & Intelligence Center is comprised of Investigative Assistants, Tactical Crime and Intel Analysts, and Research and Data Analysts.

It is the police department hub for intel, short-term, and long-term data analysis. Their mission is to suppress crime through the creation and dissemination of actionable intelligence, as well as research, plan, and evaluate to properly allocate resources and analyze department data to support departments goal.

The department is a contributing agency and has an assigned analyst to the East Valley Gang & Criminal Information Fusion Center.
